Venues: Directions & Barriers

Rabinstraße
(Seminarraum 6, 7 & 8)

The new university location at Rabinstraße 8 can be reached via two entrances:

From central station, follow the street Am Hauptbahnhof directly to Rabinstraße and the South Entrance. There is also a ramp with a slight incline next to the stairs. Doors open via a motion detector.

From Stadthaus, follow Berliner Platz to Am Alten Friedhof and the North Entrance. This one only has stairs, but you can quickly get to the ramp at the south entrance by walking around the building.

A large bicycle parking area is accessible from both sides.

A gender-neutral restroom is located off the South Entrance to the right near the lockers. A wheelchair accessible restroom is located just off Seminar Room 7.

Seminar Room 7 is located on the ground floor and is signposted.

Main Building
(Lecture halls III & VIII)

The lecture halls are located on the second floor and are unfortunately difficult to access in a wheelchair. The best way is via the entrance “Am Hof 1”, from where you have to cross the courtyard and then turn right into the building (entrance by the coat racks). There is an elevator at ground level in the hallway, but doors do not open automatically or via a switch, but have to be opened manually. Toilets are located on the ground floor, but they are also not wheelchair accessible.
