From sexist jokes in lectures to homophobic remarks by professors – unfortunately, situations like these occur time and again at university. It is not always easy to defend yourself against such behavior on your own, especially when it involves people on whom your studies may depend. That is why we have our discrimination alert. If a teacher makes sexist, homophobic or transphobic comments, or if you come across posters and flyers in university buildings that make you sceptical, please feel free to contact us. We will forward sexist allegations to the FLINTA* and Gender Equality Department, and of course your complaint will always be treated anonymously
