Wanderung

***Die Wanderung wird wetterbedingt auf Sonntag, den 4. Mai verschoben. Treffpunkt ist weiterhin Bonn Hbf um 11:15 Uhr.***

[DE] Schnürt eurer festes Schuhwerk und schnappt eure Rucksäcke, denn am nächsten Samstag, den 3. Mai ist es wieder Zeit, queerfeldein das nahe Umland zu erkunden! Diesmal erklimmen wir das Siebengebirge von der Südseite durch das verwunschen anmutende Tretschbachtal. Zunächst immer am Bach entlang, teils über Holzstege und kleine Brücken, ist unser erstes Ziel die oben abgebildete Löwenburg. Nach einer Mittagspause begeben wir uns auf den Rest des Weges bis zur Margaretenhöhe und genießen dabei weitere Fernblicke auf das Rheintal. Von dort kann die Rückreise nach Bonn im Bus erfolgen, ausdauernde Wander*innen können noch selbständig weiter die Gegend erkunden.

Für die Anreise treffen wir uns am 03.05. um 11:15 Uhr am Bonner Hauptbahnhof, U-Bahn-Gleis U4. Von dort nehmen wir die Straßenbahnlinie 66 nach Bad Honnef.

Denkt außerdem an Snacks, Getränke und ggf. wetterfeste Kleidung. Bei allzu schlechtem Wetter verschieben wir die Wanderung um einen Tag auf Sonntag.

[EN] Lace up your sturdy shoes and grab your backpacks, because next Saturday, May 3, it’s time to explore the surrounding countryside again! This time we will climb the Siebengebirge from the south side through the enchanting Tretschbach valley. First making out along the stream, partly over wooden boardwalks and small bridges, our first destination is the Löwenburg castle pictured above. After a lunch break, we continue the rest of the way to Margaretenhöhe and enjoy further distant views of the Rhine Valley. From there, the return to Bonn can be made by bus, more experienced hikers can continue to explore the area on their own.

To get there, we will meet on May 3 at 11:15 am at Bonn Central Station, subway track U4. From there we will take tram line 66 to Bad Honnef.

Also remember to bring snacks, drinks and weatherproof clothing if necessary. If the weather is too bad, we will postpone the hike by one day to Sunday
