Kolloquium für queere Studienprojekte

27. Juli 2023 @ 18:00 - 21:00

[EN] On July 27 we are holding a transdisciplinary colloquium for queer studies projects, i.e. critical reflections on sexuality, gender and related emancipatory issues. By studies projects we mean all term papers, theses, and (research) projects in other forms.

If you want to participate, you can present first ideas/concepts of a work in progress or an already finished project. We would like to offer you a space where you can get feedback from a group with similar research and/or life interests or simply present something that would otherwise just gather dust in the files of your examination office. We explicitly welcome interested people from all disciplines and semesters!

To help us schedule the event, please fill out the following form: https://forms.gle/xcejYW1G469JvGfy7

The start and duration of the event will then depend on your availability.

People interested who do not want to present anything themselves are also welcome to listen and think along! You do not need to fill out the form.

Directions: The entrance to the Department of English, American and Celtic Studies (Regina-Pacis-Weg 5) is located in a part of the main building further towards the Rhine. From the Hofgarten, walk along the building to the right, cross the street at the crosswalk and pass the entrance to the stop Universität/Markt. Inside, take the large spiral staircase to the second floor and find room A at the end of the hallway.

Unfortunately, the building is not wheelchair accessible and is only accessible via stairs. Restrooms are located in the basement.
